Socialization is a powerful strategy for human survival.

This capacity for socialization is affected negatively when one suffers mental illness. 

This might be a difficult one for some of you! But let's try to challenge ourselves!

Start by setting up a time to speak with family and friends. Tell them about the challenge and your goals. Virtual meetings count!

Invite them to get social with you! Here are some ideas:

 -Call someone daily. Chat about your day or tell them a funny joke!
 -Take a walk around the block with a family member
 -Meet new people by learning a new skill or hobby
 -Go window shopping or visit a farmer’s market
